Welcome to Bharat Agro Fuel

We wish to introduce ourselves as one of the major manufacturers and suppliers of fuel briquettes and other biofuels to various prominent companies, including Gokuldas Exports, Nestlé, South India Paper Mills, Mysore Polymers & Rubber Products Pvt. Ltd, AB InBev, United Breweries Mysore, KMF, ITC Ltd, Parle, and BASF India, among others.

Our company, established 25 years ago, is situated on Mysore-H.D. Kote Road, approximately 1 km from the ring road, on a 10-acre site. We have a well-constructed warehouse spanning 30,000 sq. ft. for storing finished products as well as raw materials.

Currently, we manufacture and supply around 2,500 MT of briquettes per month to various companies. Additionally, we are in the process of expanding our unit, which will increase our capacity by a further 3,500 MT per month in the near future.

We also deal in agro-waste fuels such as coffee husk, groundnut shells, sawdust, and tamarind shells. We procure approximately 30,000 MT of these agro-waste materials and directly supply them to various paper mills and power plants. For example, we have been supplying 10,000 MT annually to The South India Paper Mills Ltd, Nanjangud, for the past 20 years.

By sourcing raw materials directly from production points such as coffee curing facilities, sawmills, and groundnut mills, we ensure a consistent supply of raw materials throughout the year. Considering our infrastructure and expansion plans, we maintain a buffer stock capacity equivalent to two months' supply of raw materials. We are fully capable of delivering high-quality fuel briquettes in quantities ranging from 100 to 150 MT daily.

QUALITY OF OUR BRIQUETTES

We produce high-quality briquettes with a gross calorific value (GCV) of 4000, a moisture content of less than 12%, and an ash content of less than 8% (certificate enclosed).

O & M SERVICES

We also undertake the operation and maintenance of multi-fuel boilers, generating steam using our fuel and supplying it according to the client’s requirements.

CONSULTATIONS

We also recommend, provide, and supply various types of biomass fuels such as briquettes, pellets, coconut shells, and coffee husk for industrial boilers. BAF is an SSI unit established in the year 2000 by Mr. Samith Shetty, an Industrial Production Engineer and an alumnus of the prestigious Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysuru (SJCE). A resident of Mysuru, Mr. Shetty has around 25 years of experience in briquetting and other biofuels.

Samith Shetty the founder of Bharath Agro Fuels is experienced in the biomass industry for the past 20 years.Has played a key role in transforming from fossil fuel into biomass for the various industries.

Also transformed Bharath Agro Fuel from a 50mt plant to 2500mt using various biomass resources which has not been exploited in the market.Played a key role by giving inputs to industries like MYPOL,NESTLE ,Parle ,itc etc for the usage of biomass Briquettes and setting up of carbon footprints.
